Highly Heat Reflective Paint SurfCool S-II
In addition to excellent heat-shielding performance, the renewed SurfCool S-II has improved durability and drying speed.
"SurfCool S-II" is a two-layer coating consisting of a top coat and a primer coat that reflects near-infrared light more efficiently than ordinary paints, suppressing temperature increases on painted surfaces and within structures.
It is effective in preventing temperature rise and heat dissipation in metal cabinets (metal boxes, storage boxes) used in communication equipment, power equipment, and container-type data centers.
We have recently revamped our highly reflective (heat-shielding) paint for metal substrates, "SurfCool S," to become "SurfCool S-II." While maintaining its heat-shielding performance, it has improved durability and a tack-free drying speed, making it easier to use.

Heat-shielding properties
The near-infrared rays (wavelength: 780-2500nm) contained in sunlight are most easily absorbed by substances and affect the molecular motion of substances, resulting in heat generation.
Highly reflective (heat shielding) paint reflects near-infrared rays with high efficiency and suppresses heat generation on the coating surface.
