SurfCool series is a heat-shielding paint that uses special materials that efficiently reflect sunlight's near-infrared rays (heat rays).

By painting it on roofs, walls, cabinets, etc., it suppresses temperature rise, which is effective in preventing thermal runaway and breakdown of internal equipment. It also reduces electricity consumption for air conditioning, contributing to cost reduction. In addition, painting it on sidewalks and parking lots helps reduce the heat felt by pedestrians and combats the heat island effect.

Mechanism of thermal insulation paint

SurfCool series is a paint that contains a special material that reflects sunlight in the near-infrared range more efficiently than ordinary paints, thereby suppressing temperature increases on painted surfaces and within structures.
Near infrared rays are most easily absorbed by materials, affecting the molecular motion of the material, which results in the generation of heat. By reflecting this light rather than absorbing it, the generation of heat can be suppressed.

There are also heat-insulating paints that reduce heat conduction as a heat-resistant paint. Heat-insulating paints and heat-insulating paints are similar, but if they are not used properly, they can have the opposite effect.
SurfCool series offers a choice between heat insulation and thermal insulation, allowing us to propose a solution that best suits your facility's conditions.

The near-infrared rays (wavelength: 780-2500nm) contained in sunlight are most easily absorbed by substances and affect the molecular motion of substances, resulting in heat generation.
